With over 20 years of leadership experience spanning retail, logistics, food & beverage, education, and athletics, he brings a rare combination of large-scale operational discipline and people-first leadership.
His corporate background includes leadership roles at Walmart, Dollar General, Travel Centers of America, and Pepsi — managing high-volume operations, leading teams of 500+ employees, and driving performance across multi-department, multi-shift environments generating over $100M annually.
Before and alongside his corporate career, Sam served as a coach in basketball, baseball, and track — building the same skills that define great operators: accountability, preparation, execution under pressure, and developing people to perform at their best.
He has also worked in manufacturing and education, giving him a well-rounded understanding of how different industries face the same core operational challenges: inconsistent execution, lack of accountability, and systems that break down under real-world conditions.
